Positive Start
Getting Back to the Outdoors
The Victorian Government is acting to re-engage primary and secondary students and to boost their physical and mental health and wellbeing in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, providing students with the opportunity to attend camp experiences in 2022.
Thanks to this program, Victorian students can be more active, reconnect with friends and find inspiration in new challenges and exciting settings.
We are very proud to have been selected as camp providers for this important initiative at both PGL Campaspe Downs and PGL Camp Rumbug.
So how does it work?
Using adventure activities to stimulate learning and growth, our camps are run by trained PGL instructors who tailor the adventure sessions to meet your learning objectives. All of our Positive Start camps include:
Dedicated PGL Group leader or ‘Groupie’

Accommodation in multi share facilities
Four activity sessions per day – 100% led by PGL Leaders
Bedding
Evening activities
Schools and individuals will be notified by the Victorian Government of their eligibility for the program. Our friendly staff are excited to hear from you to arrange your camp experience.
