Staff at camp

At each PGL camp you’ll find an experienced, professional manager who is in charge of the day-to-day running of the camp. They are also responsible for the success of your course and the performance of the staff team

Your PGL Groupie When you arrive you will be met by your PGL ‘Groupie’ – a member of the team who will be dedicated to you and your group for the whole of your stay. Their role is to assist you with the smooth running of your course and take some of the pressure off your shoulders so you can enjoy yourself along with your group. If you have any questions or need assistance, your groupie is the person to talk to first.

Activity Instructors All our activity instructors are specifically trained for our programmes to ensure the delivery of safe and rewarding sessions. Friendly and caring, their encouragement helps your children to reach further, overcome challenges, achieve more and have fun.

Teachers and party leaders are encouraged to observe all activity sessions and participate where possible; they will also lead selected activities. For some activities your instructor will require assistance with non-technical elements, such as supervising those who are waiting their turn and providing encouragement where needed.

Details on how PGL staff are recruited and trained can be found here.
